Belated Two Month Update at 10 weeks

I suck, I admit it! When I first created this blog I had good intentions of updating at least once or twice a week! Now, I am lucky if I update myself on my progress!

I admit, I haven't weighed in since my official 8 week check up - two weeks ago. So my weight (hopefully) has gone down since then! I was down 67 pounds on my six week anniversary, and by the time my 8 week rolled around I was done 70. That only gives me 3 pounds for a full two weeks, but it is better than a gain! I also hope this means my body has caught up, and when I do go weigh in, it will be bigger than a 3lb loss! Not that I am not happy with ANY loss!

Still getting on with learning the whole new world of food and eating. I have not yet found anything I cannot tolerate - if I eat small bites, chew well and eat slowly! I also can't eat a whole lot of anything at one time! I will report that I have eating some things in the past 10 weeks that I should not have, but in minuscule amounts. I can report, that I am almost positive I don't dump! And that I cannot eat the "wrap" part of chicken wraps! That does make me sick, and it was NOT pretty either time!

I have found a couple of protein bars that aren't bad at all! South Beach Cinnamon and Raisin have the best taste but they don't keep me full... so I have scratched them. Pure Protein Double Chocolate as well Chocolate Chip were good (Walmart) as well as Atkins Advantage Chocolate Chip Granola. (Trader Joe's) All three sat well and were at least 17 grams of protein!

Currently daily goals are more than 50 grams of protein, and less than 1000 calories. So far I can do that most days - Personal goal is 10g of Protein and 200 calories or less five times a day. I do better to get it in 3 - 4 meals most days - except when PMS'ing - then we don't even want to talk about it!

Fluids are getting easier. I am getting my 64oz almost consistently... ALMOST...

Upper Arms: 21" (-1 each, 2 total)
Wrists: 7" (-.5 on each, -1 total)
Breasts: 53" (-3)
Bra Band Size: 50" (-2)
Waist: 50" (-1)
Stomach: 55" (-0)
Hips: 63" (-1)
Thighs: 32" (-2 each, -4 total)
Ankles: 11" (0)
Total Lost - 14 inches! (25 gone since surgery 10 weeks ago!)

Not sure they are all in places I wanted to lose, but I will take any inches gone!

No pictures this update SOMEONE (not naming name... men!) lost our digital camera and it has not yet been recoveed. My excuse for not doing this sooner was that HE said he would it that it has to be in my house (Pretty sure it is not...) If we don't find it, or get another one, next update will have pictures from my phone!

  2. I promise a real update soon... My 3 month appointment got delayed and I don't see my surgeon again until tomorrow - but I promise to do one soon!! :)
